Undergraduate History Conference 2014

IMG_8522 (2)This Saturday, 22nd February, the University of St Andrews History Society will host its inaugural Undergraduate History Conference. The conference, on the theme of Individuals and Impact in History, will feature ten undergraduate students from universities across the UK presenting papers covering a range of individuals, periods, and historical themes. The day will also feature a keynote lecture by Professor Gerard De Groot of the St Andrews School of History.

There are a limited number of tickets available for this event. The £5.00 cost includes a full programme pack, breakfast, refreshments and lunch. Tickets must be reserved for and paid for on the day. To reserve a ticket or for more information please visit the History Society website.

This innovative and interactive event is designed to showcase some of the very best historical research currently being carried out by undergraduates, and to provide students and other attendees with the opportunity to engage in exciting debates and in valuable peer-to-peer learning.
