Scott Schorr elected as University Postgraduate President

Scott SchorrModern History M.Litt student, Scott Schorr, has been elected Association Postgraduate Present for the University of St Andrews, beginning his 12 month term this July.

Scott’s duties as Postgraduate President will include serving as a member of the Students’ Association, serving as a student representative to the University Senate, sitting on the Student Services Committee (SSC) and Student Representative Council (SRC), working with the College of St Leonard, and chairing the Postgraduate Committee, which runs the Postgraduate Society. Scott will also sit on various other student-faculty-administrative committees throughout next year.

Scott currently serves the Postgraduate Committee as the ‘Development Officer/Ideas Wizard’. Next academic year he will undertake an M.Sc. in Computing and Information Technology, before (hopefully) combining these two disciplines in a History doctorate.
